The Who Cares Committee survives by the goodwill of local businesses,
and generous
individuals who have dedicated their time, talent, and funds for kids
in need.
When
you donate toys to needy or sick children, you provide inspiration and
a glimmer of hope.
Without
sufficient toys and books, children don't develop necessary motor skills.
Because play is essential for children to lead happy, healthy,
and productive lives, all children need at least simple toys like balls,
blocks, costumes and crayons.
Older children without
toys are more likely to be involved in fighting or other negative behaviors.
On the other hand, when a neglected child receives a game or toy donation,
he can develop necessary social skills, such as sharing. When you donate
a toy to a needy child, you provide a positive outlet for the child's
energy and creativity.
What we need:
Toys, stuffed animals,
books and games!
A cuddly teddybear,
a Lego set, or a set of crayons with a coloring book - it can mean the
world to a kid in need.
If you would like
to sponsor an event, please contact Billy at ChopperBoy1968@hotmail.com.
We will happily promote your generousity on our website and flyers!
Toy donations (we
can pick up!), please contact Liz at whocarescommittee@yahoo.com.
Established
in 1985, the Who Cares Committee is a 501(c)(3) registered non-profit
organization with the Internal Revenue Service.
